What we're looking for
The Circuit is seeking a Head of Platform Community. As Head of Platform Community, you will be responsible for connecting with The Circuit’s audience by posting in discussions whether it be on our articles, social media post or forum on our website. You will engage with group members to increase community engagement but also to ask and receive feedback from our core audience so we may improve our content for the better.
You should be passionate about community building, creative, comfortable with implementing unique initiatives. You should also be comfortable in working in a cross-functional environment and a great communicator.
The Head of Platform Community will work closely with the Head of Editorial, Head of Creative and Leadership team to ensure that all discussions and engagement connect with the content The Circuit is producing.
Time Commitment:
- We’re all students here so education is our first priority! As a marketing manager, your time commitment will be anywhere between 5 to 10 hours a week. During a period of exams (midterm, finals), The Circuit will slow down!
- We heavily rely on transparency, communication, and understanding when it comes to time commitment; We hope you’ll do the same!
Responsibilities
- Own operations of all engagement on our website forum and social media platform (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Twitter)
- Work closely with social media team to engage with followers through comments and respond to questions and reply to direct messages
- Message new followers and welcome them to the community and engage existing followers with our brand
- All Communication should be prompt, consistent with the brand, and empathetic
- Work with the marketing team on brainstorming and creating engaging content
Qualifications
- Aptitude for understanding and communicating all things Generation Z
- Experience scaling projects
- Great with online advertising platforms
- Demonstrated ability to create and lead marketing strategies
